The Pakenham line is the most dangerous, recording a fifth of all rail crime, police data compiled for the Sunday Herald Sun reveal. Commuters can expect unruly behaviour, assaults, fights and vandalism on Sydenham, Frankston, Epping and Werribee lines. But Alamein and Melton lines are among the safest. Individual stations, including Merlynston, Moonee Ponds, Murrumbeena, Upfield, Oak Park, Spotswood, Williamstown Beach and West Richmond had the least trouble. Between October last year and this month, police recorded 1327 crimes on trains and at stations. Victoria Police data show violent thefts and assaults have soared across the network. Robberies between July and this month totalled 197 -- a 41.7 per cent jump. And assaults rose by almost a quarter to a total of 745 offences across all 209 metropolitan stations.

I know my colleagues are going to have Transformers'' questions, but I wanted to know your reaction to 'Hot Fuzz' which was so inspired by 'Bad Boys 2', and that you said that you were offered 'Die Hard 4' and I was wondering if this hadn't come together would you have considered doing that? MB: Die Hard 4, no, I don't think so. Hot Fuzz, I haven't seen it yet, because I was finishing this movie. It's really hard, the end of your post schedule is such a grind, seeing a movie is like the last thing you want to do when you go home. I thought this would be an easy post, on our budget we had a hiatus scheduled in here, because I said, "Oh, my God, I have the longest post schedule," I didn't think the robots would be that hard, but I was directing them all the way to the very end.

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has announced that ASDA will continue its title sponsorship of Kwik Cricket until September 2009. ASDA, who initially became an official sponsor in March 2006, will work in partnership with the ECB to develop and implement two major campaigns designed to use ASDA Kwik Cricket as a vehicle to educate children about the benefits of healthy living and also raise the profile of the sport within communities. A core element of these campaigns will involve the ECB, in conjunction with the 18 first-class counties, and ASDA establishing a series of recreational junior cricket festivals across the country. This will also include new girl's tournaments aimed at increasing levels of participation. These festivals will be attended by high-profile professional cricketers who, in addition to passing on coaching tips, will also talk to kids about the benefits of healthy eating.
