Here are my random thoughts while I'm watching the VMA pre-show. Hopefully some of you are watching along and will post your comments too... 7:17: Glad Nick Lachey decided to get dressed up with his Hanes undershirt. (Is he the newest celeb in those "Look who we got our Hanes on now" ads?) But with those baby blues, does it even matter what he's wearing? Not so much. 7:18: Kurt Lowder still works for MTV? Didn't he like found that channel or something? 7:24: Marilyn Monroe , Gwen Stefani, Christina Aguilera arrived! I love watching the girls try to get out of the superhigh SUVs in their tight dresses. Chapped lips are basically an infl ammation of the lip itself and can occur for a variety of reasons, including exposure to wind, dry air, cold temperatures and the sun, said Stephanie Burleson, family medical physician with Utica Park Clinic Jenks. “Chapped lips can be a big problem when they get sore. They can interfere with eating, drinking, talking or other types of everyday things," she said. Breathing problems such as asthma that cause people to breath out of their mouth more than their nose can also trigger chapped lips, as can some medications. “Medications for acne, like Accutane, are notorious for drying lips," Burleson said. Heaters also affect the lips by causing the air to dry out.

James Brown's Possessions To Be Auctioned To Pay Off Taxes James Brown's possessions will be appraised and auctioned, in part to pay taxes his estate owes, court-appointed trustees said Wednesday. Attorney Adele Pope would not say exactly what items would be auctioned or how much they were worth. She also refused to say after a hearing how much the estate owed. Brown died in Atlanta in December 2006, throwing into turmoil the future of his trust, which might include music rights and his 60-acre Beech Island home in western South Carolina.
